Volunteers are the backbone of every Red Cross chapter. Professional Service providers such as Medical Professionals, Accountants and Lawyers can provide invaluable services to a chapter. Medical Professionals are highly sought after to provide basic medical assistance or advice when shelters are opened.

Chapters seeking to grow it's donations through investments or ensuring accurate tracking of materials and expenditures during critical periods i.e., floods and hurricanes, rely on the advice of trusted accounting professionals.

Legal advice to the Board or Chapter Executive can also be invaluable. Even something as seemingly simple as reviewing a lease for office space or for obtaining a vehicle would be welcomed by local chapters who would appreciate the advice but don't have the financial resources to pay fees.
