Many of our course takers are professionals who need continuing education units to maintain a license and/or certification. Examples include nurses, social workers, recreation professionals, teachers and day care providers.

In order to provide this added service to our customers, a team was formed that included representatives from chapters and national headquarters departments to explore and evaluate options.

The American Red Cross is approved as an authorized provider by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET) – www.iacet.org. IACET’s Criteria for Quality Continuing Education and Training Programs are the standards by which hundreds of organizations measure their educational offerings.
